The Best Shoes Ever

Okay, now the title might be a little extreme. But for me these are seriously some of the best shoes I have ever owned. I was wandering down Fargate, the town high-street of where I live and somehow found myself walking into Dorothy Perkins heading to the shoe section. Now it wasn't completely indulgent because I am going to The Grand National this Saturday with the whole family and needed some low heels to go with my two potential outfits (you can see a glimpse of the two dresses in the background of the first image). Both from H&M and poles apart. The first choice is a patterned maxi dress which is bohemian chic all the way and the other is a rather sophisticated navy blue fitted dress

I wanted an open sandal type shoe which were comfy enough to walk in all day long and wasn't too high so if I did opt for the maxi dress the hem didn't lift too much off the floor. So, when I saw these tanned blocked sandals I completely fell head over heels in love with them. First of, I thought they were a really nice summery change to my over flowing mountain of black shoes. Secondly, I still adore the stringy strap look but this chunky version makes them super easy to wear for the daytime. I even think they would look great with rolled up skinny jeans. I have told myself I can't wear them out until Saturday to keep them looking new but I can tell I will probably be living in them afterwards.

Unfortunately, I picked up the last pair in store and they have sold out online but if you are as infatuated by them as me then I am sure they will be stocking these best sellers back in soon! Do you share me love for these shoes or is a different style more your sort of thing?

  1. Aw they look lovely!
Small heals really don't suit me :( they look so silly! So I stick to huge ones hehe.

  2. They're gorgeous and work really well with your lilac nail varnish! I struggle to walk in the height heel. It's like my feet can't figure out whether I'm walking in flats or heels!

  4. They look so cute! Small heels don't suit me because I'm tiny and they make me look young! So I go with big ones so they make me look more mature! :P

  5. Love these! I wish I could rock huge heels but I always want to die later on in the night and curse at myself for wearing them. These look totally doable and cute at the same time!
