Taking flight' will be a big inspiration for fashion come the colder months of next year as it symbolises the idea of escapism, with a particular focus on birds. Birds have the ability to travel effortlessly which, in the current economical climate where people fantasise about being away from the stresses of mundane life, will be an important visual aid to explore such freeing feelings.

Another exciting trend that will be embraced is 'facing the elements' with reference to extreme weather phenomenons and wintry elements such as glaciers and oceans. The most important aspect taken from this inspiration will be how it translates into the textures of fabrics. Womenswear will  experiment with the softness and draping of materials whilst menswear will contrast with raw edges and waterproof fabrics. All in natural subdued tones of snow white, stone grey and sandy beige.
